I am so confused. I didn't read book 11 of the rangers apprentice series but I'm not sure it matters in this case. In book twelve, when they go to get Maddie her Ranger horse, Will takes the time to see Bellerophon, who is apparently Tug from the first 10 books??? Cool, sounds good, it's understandable, he's a ranger horse, he's been through a lot and while horse do have a large life span, it's understandable that they would retire ranger horses earlier than usual (especially after a wolf attack or something???). What I'm confused about is, in book twelve, the current Tug says, and I quote, "not as fast as sandstorm." And "I beat sandstorm" after Maddie races off on her Arridan horse. I'm sorry, what??? Could someone please explain? If bellerophon is the first Tug, than what's going on with this new Tug? I'm so confused and it might be my fault for not reading book 11 but someone, please help!

Questions and Answers
I was first introduced to the series by my father who read the Ruins of Gorlan to me when I was little and the rest, as they say, is history.
Does anyone have any idea as to where exactly the first book of Brotherband falls on the Ranger's Apprentice timeline?
Like, Hal felt barely older than Maddie in Duel at Araluen, but I just know that can't be right.
I haven't read "Arazan's Wolves" yet, so I was wondering if anyone else had and if so, How is it?
Hi
Share your thoughts on Maddie
Mine: I dont like her cause shes annoying in the start, she gets less annoying but I do not forgive her :)
Hello
I have a question. Quand The red fox clan sera traduit en français ? Je l'attends plus que de raison.
Hi. Can someone confirm if Escape from Falaise ends with Horace saying " we're going home". The book we purchased has 12 blank pages after and I think we are missing a chapter. Thank you
I have a question. Where can I read this book for free online? I've been all over the internet and can't find it. If it pops up somewhere, please let me know.
I was wondering if Christmas or an equivalent to Christmas in the Rangers Apprentice universe? And if there is, are there any traditions or customs that happens in this holiday different to our Christmas? There's an Abbey in The battle of Hackham Heath and if it has the same meaning in the Ranger's apprentice world as it does in ours then there's probably some sort of religion I just can't remember if it's mentioned or not.
In a duel between Thorn and Horace? in their prime, without horse
If you remember in Royal Ranger when Maddie fails her test in Ranger stuff, Halt consoles her and tells her the story about the same thing when the goat chews his hair when he was chased by the Temugai for stealing their horses, he says that Abelard then helped him out. Now a fault with this.
How could he have Abelard trained yet because he did respond to Halt's actions already. Halt had just stolen Abelard's breed and had not gone back to the Ranger horse breeder so how could he have a fully-trained Abelard yet?
Thanks

Who is the best Ranger?
My personal pick is Will
Then Halt
Then Gilan
Then Maddie
Then every other Ranger to live.
Which is your favorite book of all of John Flanagan’s books?
Ive been hearing rumors that alyss is going to come back. That’s not possible, right?
Hi everybody, long story, but I need the entire Ranger’s Apprentice series in Spanish. I could only find Ruins of Gorlan. Does anyone know where I might purchase the rest?
In Ruins of Gorlan, it says “That year, there had only been one other ward.” However, in The Lost Stories, Halt is thinking about where to take Will. I can’t remember the exact quote, but it refers to both Horace and Alyss - but Ruins of Gorlan only mentions Alyss as the other ward in Will’s yeargroup, saying that Horace joined them later. So which one is correct?
